MY
NIGERIAN VISION
I
see a new Nigerian nation created by Nigerians for Nigerians. A new nation:
Where
the
citizens have set goals and delineate a clear sense of direction.
Where
all men and all federating units are treated on the basis of equality.
Where
present and future generations can be proud of.
Where
the citizens are well integrated, and co-exist peacefully.
Where
all the federating units peacefully co-exist and in unity and understanding, cooperate
with one another for the exploitation of their God given natural resources for
the prosperity and wellbeing of their citizens.
Where
citizens voluntarily give up corruption and declare Nigeria a corruption free
society.
Where
lives of citizens and property are protected.
Where
there is equity and justice for all.
Where
the youths are self-reliant and are gainfully employed with a clear destination
of where the nation is going.
Where
a functional education system is established and national values are effectively
disseminated and the youths are well equipped with the skills and tools to meet
the challenges of the 21st Century.
Where
the citizens plan for the perpetuity of the nation and the wellbeing of future
generations of Nigeria.
Where
Government and the Private Sector invest heavily in research for technological
innovations and development.
